“We don’t believe that this is a time for business as usual with Russia,” John Kirby, National Security Council coordinator for strategic communications, says in reaction to Russia holding major military exercises involving China and India. Speaking with Joe Mathieu on “Balance of Power,” Kirby also says he is looking forward to the UN inspection of the Zaporizhzhia atomic power plant in Ukraine and comments on Taiwan downing a civilian drone after weeks of complaints about incursions by unmanned aerial vehicles from China.
