Trader Joe’s employees voted to unionize at a store in Massachusetts, establishing the grocery chain’s first union.
Employees in Hadley, Mass., voted 45 to 31 in favor of unionizing, the National Labor Relations Board said. The federal agency said the parties have five business days to file objections. If none are filed, the results will be certified and the employer must begin bargaining with the union.
