In his 2016 Forecasts Event (held January 26th, 2016), Jonathan K. DeYoe discussed market valuations at the end of 2015. Experts disagree on valuations and the potential for future growth. Stephen Auth expects a 20(ish) P/E ration, Henry Blodgett says (and has been saying) that we are already over-valued by a huge margin, Savita Subramanian says that P/E ration tells us nothing about short-term performance. Jonathan suggests that it makes sense, in all timeframes, to find the markets you can buy $1 earnings cheaply and then be patient while the market recognizes the value.
